The international project meeting of the Santa Maria School of Health is scheduled to take place from 30 September to 4 October in Porto, Portugal.
This week of events aims to:
– To promote a better understanding of recent developments in healthy ageing and geriatrics and new didactic methods to develop evidence-based courses.
Topics covered:
– Presentation of student-centred teaching methods and course content to visiting Sri Lankan academic staff.
– Discussions with local stakeholders.
– Visits to simulation centres, the local senior university and a retirement home.
– Definition of course content, methods and structures for student courses.
